The key components are; connection of breath and movement awareness along with intelligent sequencing of postures and smooth transitions (working through all the major groups of postures; standing poses, twists, backbends, hip openers, forwards bends, inversions). In Vinyasa we often work towards a peak pose or peak wave, always offering different levels of evolution (kramas). Visualization, themes, pranayama, music and chanting can be weaved into the classes.
