A process of sitting quietly focused in our inner awareness. Through different techniques we find ways to create a relationship with our true Self. Meditation brings many benefits; create a deep state of rest (deeper than sleep), reduce stress and anxiety, general health benefits (improved endocrine, heart function etc), gives focus and clarity while providing positive emotions, and it helps to free us from our tendencies and limiting ideas.  Meditation can happen seated (on a cushion) and/or laying down (on a matt), depending on the technique.
